By commissioning the artist you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read carefully.

What is a commission?

​

A commission is an exciting opportunity to create a custom-made piece that perfectly aligns with the client’s vision! Many clients love the idea of commissioning artwork instead of settling for off-shelf options, and for great reasons: it allows them to give a truly unique gift to someone special, to enjoy a one-of-a-kind creation that reflects their personality, to fit a specific wall perfectly, or to elevate their interior design. This thrilling process ensures that the artwork is not just unique but also deeply resonates with the client’s style and space!

Process

 

• For customized paintings, please reach out to discuss your preferred subject, colorscheme, size, painting style, and any other relevant details. A digital mockup in Sketchbook is optional to serve as a visual aid, but please note that the final painting may differ in certain aspects. Commissions are priced at $2.00 USD per square inch, starting at a minimum size of 18" x 24", with pricing adjusted based on the complexity of the details.

• To proceed, a non-refundable deposit of  50% is required upfront. Upon the completion of the painting, the outstanding balance is due prior to shipping or during the collection by the purchaser.

• All commissions are crafted as an interpretation of the client's brief, reflecting the unique creative style of the selected artist. Typically, a commissioned artwork takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete, though factors such as the order of commission, complexity, and personal circumstances can affect the timeline. Clients will receive updates throughout the creative process, including progress shots via email or WhatsApp. While minor changes can be accommodated early on, major adjustments at a later stage may incur an additional charge.

• If the client expresses dissatisfaction with the completed painting, despite having granted approval during the creative stages, the artist is entitled to sell the artwork and retain the 50% non-refundable deposit.

• The client have the option to either collect the completed artwork from the artist or arrange for delivery for an additional fee. Please be advised that the painting is unframed, and the client is responsible for its installation. The artwork is supplied stretched and includes the necessary hanging hardware affixed.
